Platform 5
I was late, very late. But somehow, I made it onto my train. I checked my ticket again and sat down on my seat. My heart pounded like hell. Mt mind was also racing, making sure that I didn’t leave anything behind, butterfly effect was a bitch. I closed my eyes for a moment and tried to calm down. Outside the window, on the platform were crowds of people waiting for their train. I prayed that they all make it home.
The train conductor made his way checking the passengers’ tickets. It was my turn. My ticket was kind of battered up but after a few nervous seconds, he nodded, smiled and punched it. Now I can rest assure that I’m going home. I saved my beloved Sara and she will be at home waiting for me. I missed her dearly. I can’t wait to give her a big hug.
